Covid conscious resilience

“Most of us are off the map of our own experiences.”

- Kelly Hayes

Navigating an ableist world that has abandoned people with long covid, those particularly vulnerable to severe consequences of an infection and anyone who doesn’t subscribe to the eugenicist logic of ‘living with covid’ can take a huge toll on our resilience.

Along with two other covid conscious resilience facilitators, Misha and Harriet, I’m offering training and support specifically for folks within the cc community to build up our collective resilience so we can keep caring for ourselves and each other and protect our shared humanity.

This is a 3-week online series exclusively for people who are still taking precautions to protect themselves and others from covid-19 (such as masking, regular testing, air filtration etc.).

It’s a space that welcomes the full truth of this experience and offers you simple, adaptable and portable tools to help hold yourself in stressful situations with more compassion, greater freedom and stronger boundaries.

Most importantly, it’s a space to be real and build community with other cc folks who are interested in how we show up in this moment and bring about collective change.

What are the dates?

The sessions will take place on Mondays over three weeks. The dates for the next series are:

  • Session 1: Monday, 23 February 2026 from 5:30-7pm GMT

  • Session 2: Monday, 2 March 2026 from 5:30-7pm GMT

  • Session 3: Monday, 9 March 2026 from 5:30-7pm GMT

Please only sign up if you can attend all three sessions as they will build on each other.

If you can’t make these dates but would like to attend a future series with myself or one of the other cc resilience practitioners, you can sign up to the waiting list below.

What do the sessions entail?

In each session, we will use a mix of body-based practices, systemic frameworks, scientific models and shared reflection to explore how stress and resilience manifests in our individual and collective bodies and learn tools to ground ourselves in the moment. (Read more about embodied resilience here.)

Through regular practice, you will learn to:

  • Identify your stress level in real time

  • Discern whether that level of stress is helpful to the situation you’re in

  • De-escalate your stress response if it’s safe to do so

  • Access more internal safety and stability to navigate stressful situations

This builds the foundation not only for individual healing but also for collective transformation.

A few notes on accessibility

Some of the resilience practices involve gentle physical movement, but this is not a requirement. You can do them in any position and even when energy is low.

We will have a break in the middle of each session.

Zoom offers close captioning, cameras are always optional, content will be offered in written and verbal form, and you can participate either verbally or via the chat.

Spaces are limited to enable more safety and participation.

Please let me know if you have any specific access requirements you’d like me to know about in your registration form when you sign up.

What’s the cost?

We are offering these sessions on a pay-as-you-can basis. This means we are asking you to contribute something in line with your financial situation, but no one will be excluded if they don’t have the means to pay.

The sliding scale prices for all three sessions (combined) are:

  • Actual cost: £60 - this is for people experiencing financial stability

  • Subsidised: £30 - this is for people experiencing financial precarity

  • Paying it forward: £120 - this is for people experiencing financial abundance

  • Free: £0 - this is for people experiencing financial scarcity
